The Importance of Parent Involvement

Parent and family involvement is essential to our success. Parents most often serve as the Learning Guide. Parents will also have a key role in the nomination and election of the Colorado Calvert Academy Governing Board and may serve on the Board or on committees and task forces appointed by the Board. The Principal and Board will solicit input and feedback from parents to determine policies, regulations and procedures. Parents will also provide input regarding the academic experience, extracurricular activities or operational matters.  Parents may participate via online discussion boards, e-mail, direct mail, webinars, and/or town hall meetings.
