Response to Intervention (RtI):
Colorado Calvert Academy’s mission statement is to meet Colorado students in grades K- 8 where they are academically, inspire and enable them to achieve at the highest academic level, foster their ability to integrate ideas and concepts across subject areas, and develop their character, curiosity, and commitment to lifelong learning. We will provide engaging learning opportunities to all types of learners. RtI promotes connecting general, remedial, gifted and special education by providing high quality, standards-based instruction and tiered interventions. Using research driven data assessments and 1:1 ratio tutorial we can match out students academic needs.
Calvert staff believes that:
Education is a shared responsibility between home and school.

Consistent communication is the key to student success.
There are six essential factors that are utilized within the success of the Response to Intervention support program that requires that administrative staff, classroom teachers, student success officer, primary learning guide, and parents to utilize the six components of RtI to guide decision-making and appropriate interventions.
